In the case of dental disease, better known as caries, we clean or grind the diseased part of the tooth and fill it with a white composite filling matching the colour of the tooth that we are restoring. The repaired tooth looks completely natural and is protected from further decay.

Amalgam or black metal fillings are in the past. Nowadays we only use modern white composite fillings, that is fillings of superior aesthetic and functional values in accordance with world standards. In the case of minor damage or involvement of the tooth, disease should be urgently repaired in order to avoid major tooth ruptures. Should this occur, we are able to treat the tooth or clean the root (devitalisation), and fill the root canals and adequately repair the tooth. When grinding teeth, we keep the maximum amount of healthy tooth tissue, while avoiding the spread of disease and complete loss of the tooth itself. In case of larger fractures, we are able to make ceramic fillings using CAD-CAM digital technology in our dental laboratory (inlay, onlay, overlay), or cover the entire tooth with a crown of selected dental materials.

Protocol for compose aesthetic fillings

It only takes one day visit to fill in an aesthetic filling. It takes 20 to 40 minutes per tooth.

Only one visit to Dubrovnik is required to fill in an aesthetic filling.

On the first day teeth and gums are examined and the cavity is removed. Doctor determines if the tooth is for inlay, onlay or overlay filling.

Tooth is ground to make room for filling and with CAD-CAM technology scan is taken. Based on a scan, tehnician in our laboratory makes ceramic filling. Patient gets a temporary replacement in order to protect tooth.

On the second day fillings are permanently cemented.

Should there be any complication related to the material or implant procedure, the Dental Center Župa will bear the costs of flights, accommodation and repair work. The patient is obliged to maintain hygiene and act in accordance with the accompanying medical documentation and the doctor's recommendations. Should this not be followed, warranties will be invalid. The Župa Dental Center and its doctors are not responsible for the general health of the patient.
