This privacy statement governs the rights to the protection of the personal data that you transmit via this website in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 for the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data (General Data Protection Regulation), to the Act on the Implementation of the General Regulation on Data Protection OG 42/2018 in relation to the collection, processing, use and storage of personal data.

This Privacy Statement applies to all users of the website regardless of gender, age, nationality and/or any other difference.

What is personal data?

Your name and surname, date and place of birth, address, telephone number, e-mail, health data and photographs are classified as personal data of website users.

Collection, processing and use of personal data

The personal data of website users is collected through a standardised form, by e-mail, through WhatsApp https://www.whatsapp.com/legal/#privacy-policy and by means of any other communication tools for the purpose of the most accessible services to the user.

Personal data is only forwarded by consent and is taken care of by those in charge of processing personal data. All personal data processed by Dental Župa refers to data of persons over 16 years of age, with the exception of that of younger users where the previous consent of a parent or legal guardian has been given.

Dental Župa processes all personal data with its own capacities and uses it exclusively in order for the user to have better access to information about the clinic's services. Dental Župa has the right to forward such data to a third party, partner (carrier, accommodation capacity, partner travel agency) for the purpose of service realisation, market analysis and user needs, a better health tourism offer, for statistical purposes, marketing and promotion, as well as for the purpose of sending special offers and discounts.

Your personal data will not be disclosed for marketing purposes, sold and/or passed on to a third party that is not listed in this Privacy Statement without your consent.

Health data

Dental Župa stores all health data of potential patients for the purpose of preventive medicine and treatment based on their consent.

Access to personal data and storage time

Your personal data is accessed by the persons listed in this Privacy Statement, including personnel involved in the provision of health care, preventive medicine and treatment in accordance with the rules of the profession. A patient’s personal data is kept for 10 years from the last examination at the clinic.

The personal data of potential patients who are not patients of the clinic can be stored for up to a year, after which it will be deleted from the Dental Župa clinic database.

Restricting the use and deletion of personal data

Should there be a complaint about the use of your personal data or you would like to file a request for its deletion, you may contact the officer in charge of the same via email dpo@dentaldubrovnik.com. All users of the website to whom we can establish identity, without exception, have the right to delete, restrict and/or correct their own personal data.

Dental Župa is obliged to respond to the submitted user's request for deletion, restriction and/or change within 30 days of receiving it via the official email specified in this Privacy Statement. A request will not affect any personal data being used by Dental Župa before the request is submitted.

Protection of personal data

Dental Župa will take adequate security measures to all personal data sent through this website.

The website is visited anonymously, except for data that you voluntarily provide by means of a standardised form, e-mail and/or other means of communication.

By accepting cookies on this website, you enable the improvement of its content and functioning. Google Analytics https://policies.google.com/privacy is used to identify your interests and to track advertising performance.

Dental Župa is not obliged to fulfil any requested service by the user in order to forward your personal data to the same.

The third parties to whom your personal data may be forwarded will treat your personal data in accordance with the rules of their profession and in accordance with their Privacy Statement.

Dental center Župa and partner companies are not responsible for any possible material and/or non-material damage caused by the use of your personal data alienated by illegal or malicious actions by any third party and which endangers the integrity, availability, authenticity and/or confidentiality of your personal data.

By forwarding your personal data through the listed communication tools, you agree to use the same for the purpose of informing with regard to the health service and you fully understand and agree with all of the above-mentioned clauses in the Privacy Statement.
